The title of this research is “ Students’ Perception Toward Paper Assignment in
Learning Process”. The research were to found out how is the students’ perception
toward paper assignment in learning process and to know what are students’
constraints toward paper assignment in learning process . This research used
qualitative method. The participants of this research was 20 students they are 10
students from semester 4 and 10 students from semester 6. To collect the data, the
writer used one of instrument that was interview. In this interview the writer gave 10
questions to students. The result of interviews there are two parts to the answer,
namely positive responds from students about their perception with paper assignment
in learning process and negative respond related to students’ constraints toward paper
assignment in learning process. It can be seen in from the result of interview that
students answer many students gave positive responses with paper assignment.
Students gave the opinion that paper assignments are one of the tasks that must be
completed, besides that paper assignments also useful in increasing the courage of
students to appear in front of their friends. Furthermore, students can easily find
solutions to problems. There is also student constraint toward paper assignments, one
of which is the lack of awareness of students to cooperate and their laziness.The
analysis of data in this research used descriptive analysis to describe the truth of the
research results.
