STUDENTS’ PERCEPTIONS OF MORAL VALUE IN THE MOVIE “ SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE”

Abstract

ABSTRACT

This thesis is entitled “Students’ Perception of Moral Value in The Movie Slumdog Millionaire”the moral perceptions of the students in the movie "Slumdog Millionaire". The aims of this research are finding out the students perception in the movie slumdog millionaire and the influence of morals on the English Students University. This research is descriptive qualitative research. The researcher used the open-ended questionnaire as the instrument. The result shows that students have a good idea of the morals found in the Movie. Based on the result of the questionnaires, this movie can be the an example as a lesson to educate and increase students’ knowledge. And the students’ get 10 morals value in slumdog millionaire movie, there are : belive in god, hard work, honest and trustworthy, not giving up, loving and belonging, inspirative, positive thinking, patient, self confidence, leaner. The students’ answer the questionaire correcly in their opion. Keywords : Slumdog Millionaire and Students’ Perceptions of Morals Value
