Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and price on
purchasing decisions at PT. Dunia Barusa Banda Aceh branch. This research
uses descriptive quantitative. The sample used in the study was 97 respondents
through filling out the questionnaire. Hypothesis testing using multiple linear
analysis method with StatisticProduct and Servuce Solution (SPSS) tools. Based
on the results of partial analysis (t test), brand image and price have a significant
effect on purchasing decisions for Toyota Avanza at PT. Dunia Barusa Banda
Aceh Branch with a significance value of 0.001 and 0.002 for each variable,
which is smaller than an error rate of 0.05. Simultaneous analysis results (f test)
show that all independent variables jointly affect the decision to purchase a
Toyota Avanza car at PT. Dunia Barusa Banda Aceh Branch. The dominant
variable influencing the decision to purchase a Toyota Avanza at PT. Dunia
Barusa Banda Aceh branch in this study is the price.
